The project "Open Box" is intended for facilitating the public access to cultural activities. Developed in cooperation with cultural institutions, this project is about glass boxes to be placed in various spots of the city to inform the general public about the weekly programs, to distribute invitations, to sell tickets and souvenirs.

Furthermore the "Open Box" will serve as a bridge for Istanbul 2010 ECOC Volunteering programs especially for participation in local projects. Some "Open Boxes” are designed as passageways in order to function as dynamic means for giving information on Istanbul 2010 ECOC projects since they are easily portable and storable contact points. Not just for observing, seeing and consuming points; but these open boxes will provide 'access' to cultural activities in the city.
