Translation in all Its Aspects with Focus on International Dialogue
Association of Translation in Turkey which brings translators, translation bureaus and translation scholars together held an International Colloquium on October 21-23, 2009 in Istanbul on the occasions of the 10th anniversary of its foundation and the 15th Anniversary of Translator Training at Istanbul University, under the auspices of Istanbul University with the theme “Translation in all Its Aspects with Focus on International Dialogue”.

2010 Istanbul Coffee Festival
Turkish Coffee Championships will be held February 19-21 during the Coffee Festival at Underground Cistern Binbirdirek. The festival is the first and only one in this concept in Turkey and realized under the support of Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency. Various coffee types and coffee-aromatized products will be served and tasted during the festival.

From Past to Present Istanbul Program
This postgraduate program which will also accept PhD students from February on, as launched in 2006-2007 academic year by the Presidency of Prof. Dr. Ahmet KALA.
